BATCH TYPE ASPHALT PLANTS MIC

The model MIC manufactured by Bernardi Impianti International offers different solutions for production capacity (from 80 to 400 t/h), structure (lower, elevated, tower) and installation (on concrete bed or faster on steel beams).
These kinds of plants are the more widespread and easier to control. They also offer the best guarantee in terms of product quality.
The production process of the modern plants is completely fully automatic.
The mixing tower is the main part of a batch plant: the hot and dried aggregates reach the top of the tower by means of a bucket elevator positioned at the discharge of the dryer.
In this part of the plant, aggregates are moved by gravity and it is possible to consider three types of zones which are different both for function and working characteristics. The cycle, which is continuous during the operations of screening and loading of the hot bins, becomes discontinuous in the further phases.
The process starts with the selection of the hot aggregates by means of the vibrating screen.
The quantity of the hot aggregates under the screen can be more or less, depending on the size of the plant and on the technical choice made by the customer during the purchase of the plant.
The hot stock plants have bigger dimensions and the volume of hot stored aggregates can be also of 100 or more cubic meters: in this case the hoppers are insulated and fitted with suitable heating systems.
Each hopper is fitted in the lower part with a small door to take the samples. This plant offers also the opportunity to produce without making the aggregates pass through the screen: in this case the materials coming directly from the hot elevator go only to one hopper. This choice is controlled by a deviator placed at the discharge of the elevator.
Subsequently the machine weights the three main elements: aggregates, filler and bitumen by means of three different weighing machines, each equipped with electronic cells.
According to the production cycle the aggregates are the first to enter inside the mixer, then, in sequence and at set intervals bitumen, eventual additives and filler.
